The insert is made of durable Silicon Carbide, and is the toughest premium cup available for the Switch. It can still break, but it doesn’t have to be babied like the quartz or sapphire induction cups. The SiC insert sits inside its own titanium cup, provided with purchase.

Switch premium cups significantly upgrade the taste of your concentrates, but require more maintenance. Wipe them out after each session with a cotton swab, since they don’t work with the Switch cleaning mode. Do not expose premium cups to thermal shock, such as cleaning with alcohol when hot.
